Today I 'm thinking about this:
"... i wonder when i look at this style of packaging, why we as designers (assuming most of you are designers.. maybe thats a leap) love this, but group after group after group of consumers, when asked, would say that it looks "generic" "low quality" "store brand" and any number of client haunting, market share-plumeting descriptors. and clearly there is grounds for success for brands that do not listen to these consumers. (eg. apple, method) where simplicity and style somehow translate to 'premium'...."
